Our goal is to offer a food distribution site targeting individuals who work during the daytime hours and need help. We also seek to make sure that our food is healthy and fresh.

On Saturdays from 2 pm to 3 pm, we will distribute one bag of food per individual or family at Trinity United Methodist Church (285 E. 5th St.). The bag is designed to provide a family of five with a healthy meal.

We are striving to Provide Healthy Food for All and that requires help from you!

We are in need of donations of food as well as financial donations.

We run this program completely based upon donations from generous people such as you.

Food for All operates under the North Valley Community Foundation. All financial donations should be mailed to:

All donations are tax deductible and checks can be made out to the NVCF with Food for All in the memo line.

Team to glean "left-overs" at farmers' market - 12:30pm-1:15pm, and to transport food to Trinity Methodist.

Team to assemble and distribute bags 1:30-3:00pm

Team to register clients and maintain a working database for reporting purposes

My volunteering experience distributing food at the Church on the Esplanade every Wednesday is fun. It makes me feel good to know I’m doing a good deed by helping people in need. Who would ever know would end up helping people after I went on the first day the program started to ask for food. At first I was nervous to volunteer because I got scared to ask for food. Now I am not nervous but I still have trouble asking for food because I feel like the other volunteers judge me but oh well when you got to feed a family of five you got to suck it up and ask for food. I am very thankful for this wonderful experience.
